Vacuum-packing involves placing food in an airtight container and removing the air it contains. Vacuum-packed food products retain all their nutritional qualities, aromas, colors and consistency. Indeed, this process prevents the development of bacteria and mold in food. This method extends the use-by date of food. Vacuum-packing helps reduce food waste. So, you can now store and reuse excess food, whether fresh or cooked.
Our rolls are suitable for microwaves up to 800W, refrigerators and freezers up to -18°C and bain-maries up to 80°C.

It is important to follow these food safety guidelines
1. Make sure your work surface, hands and utensils are clean and dry.
2. Vacuum pack only fresh products (the storage time of food depends on the initial conditions of the food itself). Check the expiry date of the food beforehand; if the use-by date has passed, do not vacuum pack it.
3. Always use clean vacuum bags and ensure that the opening remains clean, smooth and flat before sealing.
4. To vacuum-pack a liquid, it must first be frozen. In fact, no liquid should be sucked up by the machine.
5. Pack food when it is at a low temperature, liquids and hot dishes must be cooled before bagging because once vacuum packed, they can swell and risk bursting the bag.
6. Each bag should be labeled with the type of food and the date of packaging. This allows you to track the shelf life of the food.
7. After vacuum packaging, food should be stored at a suitable temperature below 3°C. Vacuum-packed food should be stored in the refrigerator or freezer to prevent the growth of bacteria.
Also, be sure to store food in a way that prevents sharp objects from puncturing the bags.
8. After opening, do not consume perishable foods if they have been left at room temperature for a few hours (mainly dishes with sauces).
