Founded in the 1930s in Reims, Le Parfait is an iconic French brand specializing in glass jars for home canning. Born from the workshops of Verreries Mécaniques Champenoises, Le Parfait thrived on the craze for preserving food at a at a time when households were not yet widely equipped with refrigerators. Le Parfait jars, renowned for their efficiency and aesthetics, quickly became a favorite choice among the French.
Le Parfait jars allow for optimal food preservation thanks to the canning technique, invented by Nicolas Appert. Made of white glass, these containers are composed of a transparent jar and a glass lid, held together by a hinge and a stainless steel or galvanized wire lock, thus ensuring a perfect seal.
