These mugs are handmade with lilac colored porcelain and decorated with white and yellow stripes, glazed with a food grade glossy clear glaze on the inside and unglazed on the outside for a matte finish and the wonderful velvety feel of unglazed porcelain. Porcelain is fired at a very high temperature and is more stain resistant than other high-fire clays, even in the unglazed areas.

Since the stripes are drawn one by one by hand, some of them may be a little crooked. These are not mass-produced "perfect" ceramics, but perfectly imperfect handmade pieces.
