All Textura Ceramics pieces are made by Yvonne Fernández in her workshop and showroom located near Gaudi's Sagrada Familia in Barcelona. Textura Ceramics came from a deep need to do something with her hands, to connect with creativity.
After trying different disciplines, she took a wheel throwing course in 2019, and it was love at first sight for clay. After several months of training, in December of that year, she decided to look for a shared studio so she could spend more time practicing and experimenting with both wheel throwing and hand modeling. Since then, her love and admiration for this ancient art has continued to grow.
In January 2023, she decided it was time to take the next step and have her own workshop. So she created Atelier Textura, a small studio and showroom, the space where she plans to continue developing her work and sharing it.
