Hydrangea paniculata, also known as Peegee hydrangea, owes its species name to the elongated and branched shape of its inflorescences, called panicles. The panicles bloom from mid-summer to the heart of autumn. Green, pink, white or cream, they measure from 15 to 30 cm in length depending on the variety and change color in autumn. From the classic hydrangea paniculata 'Kyushu' to the giant 'Levana' or 'Phantom' or the dwarf forms of 'Silver Dollar' and 'Little Lime', there are about fifty varieties. In the garden, panicle hydrangeas are excellent flowering shrubs with multiple uses.
Old pink is a shade close to soft red. This shade is slightly darker than old pink. This gives this color a more elegant and less feminine side. This is why we like to adopt this color in modern living rooms or zen bedrooms.
It stands out for its sobriety. It is therefore an ideal shade to elegantly decorate a bohemian or Scandinavian living room.
