The Secret to Thick Hot Chocolate

No need to run to Parisian tea rooms to enjoy a thick hot chocolate! Here is the little secret to thick chocolate, without a gram of cream!

For about 2 people:

In a saucepan, place half a bar of dark baking chocolate in pieces and let melt over medium heat for 5 minutes. Then add about 50 cl of milk to the saucepan (adjust the amount of milk to your liking and the amount of chocolate to your tastes!). Bring the milk to the boil, continuously mixing the milk and chocolate. When the milk starts to boil, lower the heat slightly: the milk should boil slightly but without overflowing! Leave for about 15 minutes. Add a little vanilla powder or extract, depending on taste.

Boiling the milk will thicken the chocolate. Turn off the heat when you are happy with the consistency and enjoy!
