The story of La Planche Française is that of Guillaume, who spent his childhood surrounded by the smell of sawdust. The son of a carpenter, he gradually learned to work with wood, began making cutting boards and discovered the almost infinite creative possibilities of end grain wood.
La Planche Française was created in this continuity, to offer you objects that are aesthetic, qualitative and creative.

Concerned about the environment around him, Guillaume only uses local wood of exceptional quality. Each wooden board is carefully selected in Isère. Each species has grown within a 100km radius of the place of sale, to ensure you an ever more local product.
