And the well-kept secret of the Keksmoment biscuit recipe:
Cookie recipe:
- 100 g of icing sugar
- 200 g of butter
- 370 g of flour
- 1 egg
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla sugar
Beat the sugar and butter until fluffy. Sift the flour over the mixture, then add the egg, salt, and vanilla sugar. Knead everything together to form a shortcrust pastry.
Wrap the dough in cling film and place it in the refrigerator for 1 hour.
Roll out the dough to about 4 to 5 mm thick. Preheat the oven to 180°C (fan-assisted). Bake the cookies for about 10 to 12 minutes, until golden brown.
Good luck and enjoy your meal!
General tips and care instructions:
When making cookies, dip the cookie cutter, including the letters, into flour. If only the edges are floured, the dough will not detach properly from the text and the result will not be aesthetically pleasing.
When cleaning, be careful with the fineness of the lettering. Small letters (thin plastic) are not dishwasher-safe and should be washed by hand with caution.
Thicker letters can be cleaned in the dishwasher at a maximum temperature of 60°C.
In this case, make sure the cookie cutter is placed flat on its back and that no other dishes or cutlery are crushing it. Mechanical stress combined with heat can damage the plastic and cause it to warp.
